For some reason I have felt a little down today. Maybe it is the weather. Maybe it's because I have a little cold. Maybe it's because Josh isn't home (even though it is his day off.)
Anyway, I was in my kitchen cleaning up some stuff and listening to Alyse play. I was starting to stress myself out about everything that I have to do in the next few days. I decided that I needed to start to get organized so I sat down at the kitchen table and started to make a few list.
All of a sudden I felt these very cold hands on my back. Alyse pulled herself up behind me on the chair, stood behind me, and just started to hug away. She then said, "Mommy! Loves!" and started to squeeze again. I completely forgot all about the list, pulled her on to my lap, and started to return some of her "loves".
Sometimes you just need moments like that!
