I have some more random things to share with you .......
- I am so excited that today is the first day of March Madness! I love it! Both Josh and I are big basketball fans and faithful Sportscenter watchers, so this the second most exciting time of the year (after Christmas) at our house. Last year worked out great because Josh took 3 weeks off when Alyse was born, so he was home for most of the games. We would sit in bed and watch game after game. This year I might have to watch a lot of the games all by myself. Of course we already have our brackets all ready. (Here is where you can get yours.) We will see whose bracket is better. I, of course, have UNC winning the whole thing!
- Yesterday I told you all about my fear of fire. Well, the other night this seemed a little too real to me. At about 4 am the fire alarm started beeping. I started to panic! I was starting to go through my fire evacuation plan (Yes, that is right. I have it all planned out. My plan is to get everyone in the car! That is the only way that I think I can control a baby, 2 dogs, and a cat. I also have a collection of photos and other special things that Josh knows he is in charge of getting.) As I was starting to get up, Josh went out to check it and declared that it was just the battery. He spent the next hour trying to make it stop. He even ended up going to the store to buy some new batteries to put in it, but it still continued beeping. Eventually he got mad and threw it into the garage! We now have a new one.
- I went to the gym today and really enjoyed my work out. I was there for almost two hours. When I left I was proud of myself. I am starting to feel a little bit of a difference in my body. Hopefully I will be able to see a difference soon. I do know that I will probably be sore tomorrow!
- Tonight I had an awesome date night. No, not with Josh, with my Lori. It was great! We had Mani/Pedis and then went out for dinner. There was lots of girl talk and laughing. Thanks, for the fun, friend!
- Tomorrow I am headed towards Raleigh. Alyse has spent the last two nights with her Grammy and Papa and I think it is time for her to come home. I have a great time when she is gone. I get a lot done and really enjoy my baby free time, but I really do miss her.
Ok, I am off to put away some laundry and then I am going to bed!
