The Original Because of Love

Since it is Friday, I am going to post my Friday Friend Day post, but today is a special Friday. It is Good Friday. So, in honor of that, I am going to tell you about my best friend, Jesus.

Jesus is the best friend ever. He is always there for me. He knows me better than anyone. He loves me more than anyone.

Even though I am not perfect, God has forgiven me of of my sins and loves me!

How do I know he loves me? First, he has blessed me with so much! I can never thank him enough for all that he has done for me. He also gave his life to save me from my sins. If he didn't love me, would he ever have gone through this:



I also know he loves me because he told me so:

• "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
• Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13
• For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—Ephesians 2:8
• To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. -Revelation 1:6

So, today I want to praise God for all that you have done in my life. Thank you for all of your blessings. Thank you for loving me. And thank you for dying on the cross to save me from my sins. I love, Lord!
