So I have taken a few days off of blogging, and I have a lot to get to caught up on. Here we go ....
Saturday- I love my husband. (I know that you all know that already). He took Saturday off to spend with me and Alyse. In the morning we just hung out at home in our pjs. That night his sister, Rachel, and her husband, Joe, came over for a cook out. It was fun.

Sunday- Sunday's are so busy for us. On a typical Sunday, Josh is at church by 6am. I get there sometime during the 1st service. We go together to 2nd service, and then we are both back stage, and taking care of different responsibilities. After 3rd service, we head home around 1:30/2:00ish. We grab a quick lunch (usually Qdoba), put the baby down for a nap, and then head out for small group by 5. We are home around 8, feed Alyse, and then Josh and I snuggle down in bed. It is a crazy day, but is probably my favorite day of the week.

This weekend was also big for my parents. Keep them in your prayers - My parents are staying with us right now. They are in the process of hopefully moving to NC! That would be nice, because I love to have them around, and I really want Alyse to grow up seeing her grandparents as often as possible.

Monday- This week, we actually have 3 dogs. Samson, our friend's - The Hubers, dog is staying with us for a week. He really is more like a small horse. Anyway, the dogs are having a lot of fun. Yesterday, we let Sammy come in to play for a little bit. Bo was so excited. The two of them had a great time running around and wrestling. Bo and Zeke gave him a tour and showed him Alyse. I think it was nice for them to have a dog visit. (Here are some pictures - they are blurry, but it is hard to keep 3 dogs still at the same time!)

Yesterday, we all went for a walk. Josh walked Bo, Mom walked Zeke, I walked Samson, and Dad pushed Alyse in her stroller. People were staring at us. I guess it looked pretty funny. I am sure we looked like a small parade walking down the street.

Tuesday-Today my personal trainer (aka- Josh) and I worked out. I have started to really concentrate on getting all my baby weight off. Actually, I want to loose a little more that just baby weight. My goal is 5 lbs a month until Christmas. So, I have started to watch what I eat and drink (meaning more water, less Diet Coke), and I have committed to working out at least 4 days a week. Last week, my friend, Joy, and I walked in the mornings. I took the weekend off, but got back to work today. Josh and I lifted weights (which I got in trouble for- because I kept making him laugh and apparently it is serious business and there is no laughing during lifting weights.) We have a treadmill, boxing bag, weight bench, and other random exercise equipment in our garage. Each day, I want to use something new. Today, after the weights, I used the boxing bag. Josh told me to not only hit it, but to kick it too. (He was really getting into this whole personal training thing.) It was fun. Hopefully I can keep my motivation up and can keep it up. I really would like to be happy with my weight, but it has always been a struggle. I know that Josh loves me, and that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, but being a girl is hard some times. (Read this blog by my friend Kelly) I pray that I can remember that God created me "perfect".

Psalm 139:14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
