Yesterday, we went to the Billy Graham Library. As you can see from the picture, it looks like a big barn. To the left of the library is his childhood home.It was beautiful! Inside both of them are lots of pictures and artifacts that tell the story of the Grahams and their ministry. It was so interesting and moving. I have always had a great respect for him and his love for God, but seeing the impact that he has had on the world was amazing. There were personal notes from Presidents, celebrity's (like Bono), foreign leaders, and hundreds of people from around the world. My favorite was from a child who didn't know his address so they just wrote "from Heaven". There was also one that said "in case of Rapture, don't worry about it." Ha, funny! I even enjoyed going to the Ladies Room. Since it is designed like a barn, each toilet looks like a stall. They have these big old fashion sinks, and there are pictures of the women in his life on the wall. So cute!

My favorite part was right when you walk in. You walk through a huge glass cross. When you walk into the barn, there are big beams that have verses on them. It is very impressive. I also loved all the pictures. I love to look at pictures! Alyse liked Bessie, the talking cow. She told about Billy when he was a little boy growing up on the farm.

It was obvious that this library was built not only to tell the history of Billy Graham and his ministry, but it also is to keep his mission going. I loved all the verses and testimonies that were shared. In the book store "Ruth's Attic" my Dad bought me a plaque of a verse that I love.

Psalm 19:14
May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord.

I am so glad that we got to go. We all really enjoyed it!
