So the last couple of days have been crazy around here. Sitting to write about it, the list of things I have done doesn't seem very long, but my body and my brain has felt like it has been in overdrive the last couple of days.

Saturday - I got to hang out with some of my friends from my old working days. It was great to see them and have a little girl time. We saw the movie "Nights in Rodanthe". It was really good. I enjoyed it better than the book, which I don't say very often.

Sunday - Oh my! What a busy day! It was a full 9am to 10pm kind of day

Sunday morning was great. Pastor did a wonderful job tackling the subject of sex. I have to say that I totally agree with him that people need to be made aware of the real issues. We can't believe what we see in movies or believe what other people/media says about the topic. God designed sex and we need to look to Him on the matter. (Pastor puts it much better than me. If you missed it, watch it here.) If you weren't there, I guess your not getting to go on a free date night. Yes, that is right. The church arranged for each married couple to get a gift card to a restaurant of your choice (there were about 6 restaurants to chose from) to go on a date night. They also had a voucher to pay for your babysitter. Very exciting!

Sunday night was one of my favorite Evenings of Worship that we have had. There were a few exciting announcements, a special recognition of Pastor for Pastor's Appreciation Month, and of course some great music. Great night!

Monday - Small Group and Date day.
Since Alyse is with my Mom and Dad, Josh and I had the whole day free. We enjoyed our new Monday Morning Breakfast Club, and then began trying to decide what to do with our day. We had a list of options, but so many choices was a little overwhelming. We couldn't decided what to do. It was already after 2pm by the time we were ready to leave the house, so we ended up driving around doing some errands and then we walked around South Park for a little bit. We went out to dinner and then came home to snuggle in bed. Not all that exciting of a day, but we enjoyed ourselves.

Today - Still busy!
I got to have lunch with my friend Amy. Today is her birthday! Happy Birthday, friend!

I then drove all over running some church errands. I ended my day at the church office, delivering a number of items. I got to see my lovely Lori, and discussed with Pastor how it was 3 years ago today that I met him, Holly, and a bunch of other Elevation people. (I know that because we all met at Amy's birthday party at Olive Garden. Good times!)

Now I must get off the computer. There are many things to do before some more adventures start tomorrow!
