Alyse has been with my mom and dad the last couple of days. She is actually staying with them about a week. I knew that Sunday was going to be a crazy day and Josh and I will be out of town Wednesday-Friday, so my parents offered to let her stay with them in Raleigh. I have kept myself busy, but I miss her like crazy!

Everyone always tells us how nice it must be that we have so much help with her. It really is nice. I get a lot of stuff done and it is nice being able to help out at the church office, see friends, go out with my husband, run to the store, try on clothes and go to the bathroom myself, etc...., but it is also really hard to be without her. I like having her around! When she isn't with me I miss her little voice, laugh, and kisses. I miss her snuggles. I miss just watching her. I miss playing with her. I miss all the sweetness and cuteness of her! I know I am a little bias, but I think she is precious!

Anyways.....

Alyse has really started to like to help me with chores. She likes to vacuum beside me with her little vacuum. She likes to wipe down her own tray after she eats. She really likes the dishwasher, but is much better at taking things out than putting them in. She has started to help feed the dogs and give them water. However, her favorite chore is to help with the laundry. She likes to fold and put away the clothes, but actually putting the clothes in and out of the washer and dryer is her favorite.

Here are some pictures of her working hard before she went to Raleigh:

I guess that even in Raleigh she enjoys helping with the laundry. My mom called me to tell me that her and Alyse were doing laundry today. Mom carried some of the clothes into her bedroom. She looked and Alyse had not followed her. She walked around looking for her, but Alyse had decided to do a disappearing act. Mom decided to check the laundry room since that is the last place that she had been. At first she didn't see her, but after a few seconds she found her.
Where? Sitting in the dryer with the door closed.

Why am I not surprised?
