Question- Does anyone else have this problem?

(Yes, Alyse is in there.)

I don't know what is up with Alyse's car seat, but it has been possessed lately. I will look back to the backseat to see her sitting sideways. (SAFETY ISSUE!) Josh (Police Officer Daddy, who is not happy about this whole thing) and I both have tried to fix it, but it still keeps happening. I'm not sure what the problem is. I know she isn't too heavy for it! Whatever it is, it makes me feel a little nernous. Maybe it is time to move to a different car seat.

She might not be big enough for a new car seat. I think you have to be 32 inches or like 25 pounds or something. Our seat kinda leans alittle but NOT like that!! I'd call the company and see if that's normal or if they'd replace it.

Our carseat used to kind of lean like that too! But I think those convertible kind that still face the rear are good for babies her size and age. I read the other day I think that she was like 14 pounds (which made me laugh by the way cuz my behemoth boys were like 14 pounds at like 2 or 3 months, though they've since slowed way down!) and those convertible ones can go as low as like 8 or 9 pounds I think.

We got to test our carseats out in a real life scenario the other day. Thank God they did what they were supposed to do! I got in an accident, but none of us even had a bruise, the carseats held them right in place. Thank God for the advances in safety belts and car seats or it might have been a different story!

Good luck, I hope you can get that taken care of, I'm sure it'll help you worry a lot less!

I go to your dad's church (my identity in life is "the twins' mom"). YES we had that problem with the car seats. The solution is one of those clips that goes on the seatbelt - a lot of car seats come with one stuck to the back - especially the bigger car seats. You tighten the seatbelt and then clip the belt to itself and it can't loosen and therefore the seat can't move. It's hard to explain but I can take a picture of ours and send it to you if you want. It's a cheap and easy solution to a BIG problem!

ALSO: how do you get hairbows that fit her head? Do you make those or buy them somewhere? All I've ever tried are the elastic ones and they leave marks on my girls' heads because they're so tight! My girls are 10 months old and I'm just tired of people asking if they're boys...
