My life is great! It really is everything that I always imagined it would be. I have the handsome husband. I have the precious baby girl. I have the cute dog (well, dogs... and a cat, which I never planned on). I have the little white house with blue shutters and rose bushes in the front yard. I have great friends, an awesome church, etc.....
However, every once in awhile I have "I wonder" moments. For instance:
- What if Josh and I had never met?
- What if we had broken up back in high school or college?
- What if when Josh had that accident he would have been seriously hurt?
- What if we had decided to move some place other than Charlotte?
- What if we had moved to Chicago, NYC, or another large city?
- What if I had taken that money and actually did use it to go travel around Europe?
- What if I had chose not to go to school for Elementary Education?
- What if Josh hadn't decided to go to the Police Academy?
- What if we had given up on finding a church that we loved?
- What if we hadn't had Alyse and it was just the two of us?
- What if Josh had worked that night at Timber Ridge?
- What if we would have bought that?
- What if I did have to go find a job?
- What if I get that phone call?
- What if ...........
I then sit back and think how great it is to know that God really does have things all planned out for me. I don't have to worry about the "what ifs" of life and have "I wonder" moments. God knows what is going to happen. And I am so glad that my life is in His hands!
