About a month ago, Alyse took her "first steps". Josh, Alyse, and I were standing in the kitchen. Alyse was holding onto her daddy's leg when she decided to let go and stand on her own for a second. Then she took about two steps towards me and then fell over. Ever since then we have been practicing.
Well, over the past couple of weeks, she has really started to get the whole walking thing down. She still isn't walking very far, and prefers to crawl, but I am very proud of her. (And a little nervous and sad!!!!)

Bo stopped her for a little encouraging kiss.
I think she would get a lot farther if there wasn't so much traffic.

Congratulations Alyse! Doesn't she have a birthday coming up really soon???
