For Christmas, I got Josh tickets to a UNC game. We have been counting down the days until Feb 24th for the UNC vs Wake Forest game. Sunday, the day finally was here!
I think I was more excited than Josh. He got to go to a game last year, but this was my first time to go to a UNC game. I was excited first of all because I love basketball. I really miss going to games all the time. Plus, I am a big UNC fan. Have been my whole life. I really was Tar Heel born and Tar Heel breed.
Josh is also a big fan, but he kinda married in to being a fan. He like UNC before, but only because of Michael Jordan. Now, he really has decided to give up his Michigan roots and cheer for the real blue team.
Anyway, Sunday afternoon we made our way to campus and started with a little shopping. (I had to get some new, official, UNC gear.)
Then we headed to the Basketball Museum. This was very fun for us. Josh and I both love museums, and seeing all the UNC memorabilia, and of course the Michael Jordan display, was great.
After that we headed to the Dean Dome and went to our seats. They were a little higher than I hoped, but we still had fun.
The game was great! UNC won, of course.
After the game, we made our way down to the floor.
Then we went and met up with our friend McKenzie. We went and hung out in her dorm room for a little while. So fun! (Thanks, McKenzie and Megan for letting us feel like college kids for an hour or so, even if we are old now.)
It was a great day! Josh and I both agreed that it was the best date that we have been on in awhile. Can't wait to do it again next season.
