(I don't know why that one is fuzzy. Oh well.)
Now, I have to give you a few examples of how I have the best husband ever.
When I was looking up directions to Asheville, I could not get our printer to print. So last night I called Josh and he said that he would take care of it. When he came home, he had not only printed out directions there, but had also printed out the directions to get back to Indian Trail. I thought that was so sweet. You see, I don't really love to drive, and hate not knowing where I am going, so I thought that was very helpful and thoughtful.
He then got up this morning, took my car, and filled it up with gas. Getting gas is another thing that I am not good at. I never can get it on a even dollar amount. It always ends up at like $35.01. So frustrating!!!
The best thing he did was help me on the way home. Just after I got on 85, Alyse started crying. At first it was just a little whine here and there, but eventually she just started to scream. I was on the phone with Josh and told him that I had to go. I took the first exit that I saw - Freedom Drive. Well, I pulled over and Alyse was fine. I suddenly realized that I had no clue where I was, so I called Josh. Here is our conversation:
Josh: "Where are you?"
Stephanie: "On Freedom Drive at the Freedom Mall".
Josh: "WHAT?! Freedom Drive! Why did you stop there?"
Stephanie: "Alyse was crying. I just took the first exit."
Josh: "What are you doing?"
Stephanie: "Giving Alyse her passy."
Josh: "Are you in the car?"
Stephanie: "No, I am standing at the door."
Josh: "Stephanie, get in the car and lock the doors! I will be there in a second."
He then proceeded to get on 85 going 90mph until he reached me. (In about 5 minutes.) When he pulled up, I looked and he was not alone. He had a ride along with him. He got out of the car, checked on us both, and then told me to follow him. He then gave me a police escort to 74.
Don't I have the best husband ever?
I'm not sure if this will work, but I enjoy reading your blog.
