This morning we went to the doctor's office for little Miss Alyse Nicole's 18th month check-up.

Here are her stats:

Weight - 20 lbs (We have moved up to the 10th percentile!)
Length - 31 in. (That is right about the 50th percentile.)

She only had to have one shot and did a great job. She did cry a little, but she did a great job for toughing it out without a passy. (We are working on getting away from using it.)

Dr. Craig said that she "looks perfect" and "is cute as can be." (He is a really smart doctor!) He went on to say that this is a really fun age for kids and to enjoy it.

When he said "kids" it really sunk in that she isn't a baby anymore. I have been joking around that she is all grown up and seems like she is 18 now not 18 months, but she really is growing up fast. As much as I am loving her little personality and enjoying each day with her, it makes me miss her baby days.

I do have to say that she is pretty cute. Just look at her:
(Josh took that picture this morning. Good job, Baby!)

I also hope that when she is actually 18 she won't be wearing some purple gingham overalls with flowers on them, a little sweater, some pink and white Keds sneakers, and piggy tails with purple bows in her hair. Then again, that may be popular, but I am guessing no!

I'd have to agree, she IS pretty cute! I did have to chuckle when I read that she weighed in at 20 pounds, both of my boys hit that by about 10 months. But they did both start out at over 9 pounds!
