This weekend, I have a lot going on.
Here is what I have done/will be doing in my free time:
Friday - I have already crammed a lot into my 1st day. I woke up this morning and when over to work at the church office for awhile. Lori put me to work organizing some stuff. I love to organize. I sat in the office with the label maker and a Diet Coke and organized away. It was great! Then Lori and Shannon took me out to Qdoba for lunch. We went for a late birthday celebration. I really enjoyed it!
After lunch, I rushed over and got my hair done! I was happy that I got to pamper myself a little. I was hoping to get a mani/pedi too, but I ran out of time for that. Oh well!
When I came home, there was a little drama. I'm not sure of the whole story, but apparently one of my neighbors had a very scary moment tonight regarding one of their children. There were people everywhere and there were about 7 police cars on my street. It was a little scary! (I would tell you what I heard, but I really don't know very much. I just know what was being passed up and down the street. I am not sure of the details, and I don't know what is truth and what is just gossip.)
Since I couldn't really get to my house, I turned around and went over to my friend Tammy's house. Her husband is out of town, so we just hung out and talked for awhile. I usually talk to her every day, but we have both been really busy lately. I have missed her, so I was glad to spend some time with her.
Now, I am waiting for Josh to get home. Then tomorrow, we are going to sleep in! YAY!!!
Saturday - After the sleeping in, I am going to get ready to welcome some long lost friends. Five of Danielle and my friends from elementary school are coming from Virginia to see us. I am so excited! I haven't seen most of them for about 15 years! We are all staying in a hotel Uptown and going out to Blue for dinner. We are just going to hang out, catch up, and I am sure laugh a lot! (I am sure that I will post some pictures and fill you in on the details later.)
Sunday - DOMINATE SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At 10 am I will be sitting in a big tent on the football field at Providence High School, ready to see God's blessings being brought to the table so that Elevation Church can continue to DOMINATE! You should be there too! For more info, click here or here.
