The Original Because of Love

Fall is by far my favorite season! Here are some of the things that I love about fall.

• Decorations- Every year, around the middle of September, I start to get excited. I beg Josh to get out the fall decorations, so we can get into the fall mood, but he won't let me do it until the "official 1st day of fall". I love to put out little pumpkins, leaves, and other fallish stuff. Josh calls my small collection of fall decor my warm up for Christmas. (I go ALL OUT on Christmas decorations. I'll tell you about that when it is time to put them up -AKA: the day after Thanksgiving)


• Smells - Pumpkin, Apple, Carmel....yummy! Bath and Body Works makes a killing with my purchases of Wall Flowers and candles.


• Cooler weather- This year it isn't very cool yet, but I know that it will happen someday soon.


• Fashion - Sweaters, jeans, boots, cute little jackets! I love it! My to-get list this year includes some new black boots and well, I'm sure I will find some other things.


• The mountains- Each year Josh and I take a trip to the mountains. I love it! The leaves are so pretty. We always have the best time, and this year we get to take Alyse.


• Basketball season - I can't wait! Finally I will enjoy Sports Center again. Those of you who don't know me all that well probably think that I am joking, but I'M NOT. You may also think that I like basketball because of Josh, but that is NOT true. The games will be on even if Josh is not home. I am a true fan. All I can say is that I'm a Tar Heel born and a Tar Heel breed! ***Note to my Dad: Nov 14 there is a game here in Charlotte. I'm free!


• My Birthday (and Danielle's too) - November 1st! Put it on your calendars :)


• New shows - I am truly enjoying the new fall line up. I'm glad that we have a DVR this year.


• The start of the holidays - They start this weekend for us. This weekend we are having Canadian Thanksgiving (my Mom's Canadian). It is on Monday. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
