Right now I am writing this blog from bed! I think that is pretty exciting! I am in Raleigh visiting my parents. Josh, Alyse, and I came to visit them on Monday. Josh had to head back on Monday night because he had to work (of course), but I will be here until Friday. Josh and I were really impressed when we came to their new house. I thought that I was going to be unpacking boxes, but my parents had everything all set up when we got here. There are a few boxes in the garage, but for the most part they are all settled in. Mom and I have just been shopping around for the finishing touches. (Which is fine with me, because I am fine with shopping with other people's money!) I did get a little nervous when we got here. My Dad informed me that there would be no TV or Internet for 3 days. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, but I did. It really was worth it too because right now I am relaxing in my bed, watching the Style Network, and blogging. (Note to Josh: I really like this wireless thing! I also really like the Style Network. Why don't we have these things at our house?!) ________________________________________ Here are some other random things for you: (I know that a lot of us read the same blogs, and you may have already read about this - or possibly lived it- but I want to be a part of the excitement.) Elevation has already started to DOMINATE! This past Sunday there was an article all about Elevation and the Bless Back Project on the front page of the Charlotte Observer. (Read the article here.) The same article also ran in the Raleigh news paper. There was also a news story about it on WBTV (CBS) on Sunday night. It was so awesome to sit in church and see a news crew there gathering material to tell others all about what God is doing at Elevation! _________________________________________ On Sunday, I was also blessed by a very good friend. I was surprised by a very nice card and a gift card for Josh and I to have a date night. It was so sweet and unexpected! It really made my day!!!!!!! Thank you so much, friend! (You know who you are.) __________________________________________ Oh, I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sister-in-law Rachel. Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day! ____________________________________________ Here is the picture of Danielle and I with our friend Nicki: ![]() Well, I guess that is it for now. I am going to sit back and enjoy the Style Network. |
