The Original Because of Love

-This past weekend, Josh and I went out to his area (David 3 - North Tryon Division). He never lets me go out there. I have only been over there 3 times, but we were close, so we drove through. We went to Timber Ridge Apartments and Josh walked me through the whole story of the night that Jeff and Sean were killed. Of course I have heard the story over and over, but going and actually seeing the spot where they were shot, was very sad and a little scary. (In another post sometime, I'll talk a little more about it.)

-I have been working overtime the last couple of nights. My child, who is usually an excellent sleeper, will NOT GO TO SLEEP!!!!! It is the weirdest thing. I don't really know what to do. She isn't fussy or gassy. She doesn't have a temperature. I don't think she is teething or sick. I just think she wants to stay up. For example, tonight, we followed our regular bedtime routine (cereal at 7pm, then bath, bottle, and in bed by 8pm at the latest), but she was still awake. I tried everything. I rocked her. I walked her. I sang to her. I gave her Mylicon. I changed her diaper (actually, my mom did that while I took a break). I held her while I sat on the couch with all the lights off. I just laid her down in her crib, but she just rolled around, kicking her feet, and whined. She didn't cry, but she made it very clear that she was not going to sleep (even though she was rubbing her little eyes and yawning). Finally, I gave her an extra bottle, and she relaxed. She just went to sleep (it is now after 10pm). What is up with that?!

- Good Lord! It is hot! Today my car's exterior temperature gage said it was 111 degrees. Thank the Lord for AC. (Did you know the man who invented air conditioning was from Charlotte? I heard that on the news last night.)

- Did you hear about that lady at the American Idol auditions in Denver? Apparently she went into labor. She had a little girl, and named her American Idol. That is crazy! (It was on Inside Edition.)

- I had to go to the dentist again. I have to get my wisdom teeth out on the 20th. I might cry again.

- My mom says that I need to put more pictures of "her baby" up. (I guess the real thing isn't good enough for her). So here are my latest pictures:
