Another of my favorite things is to watch Bo and Alyse together. For those of you who don't know, Bo (full name: Rocky Balboa) is our Lab./Rot. He is 2 years old, and spoiled rotten! (Josh and Bo have a very close relationship. I have never seen a dog love someone so much. He sits at the door waiting for Josh to come home. And Josh loves him too. I swear he cuddles with Bo more than he cuddles with me!) Anyway, we were kinda worried about how Bo was going to react to having a baby in the house, but he LOVES her. When I was pregnant, he would rest his head on my belly and listen to her. Now he always wants to be beside of her. He also wants to lick her all the time, but I don't like too much of that. She loves him too. She smiles at him all the time. The first time she laughed, she was laughing at him. They are so cute together. He will let her pull out his hair, lay on top of him, and smack him in the face. He'll just sit there and stare at her and then will kiss all over her. It is very sweet.
The other part of my day that I love is when Josh comes home! Usually it is pretty late at night. Now that I don't have to get up in the morning, I wait up for him to come home. Usually it is a race to the door (between Bo and I) when we hear the garage door start to go up. Most of the time Josh is hot and tired, so after a fast kiss (for both Bo and I), he heads straight for the shower. Then he usually gets something to eat. (I don't know how he stays so skinny!) After that, he goes in to kiss Alyse, and then it is time to cuddle (for both Bo and I). I love to sit and listen to his day. (Josh tells great stories.) Sometimes we watch tv for a little bit, but we always pray and then snuggle down for the night. I love it.
