There are many times that I sit at home and wonder what it would be like to have a "normal" day. I wonder what it would be like to kiss my husband good-bye (while I was actually awake) and then wave as he pulls out of the driveway. I wonder what it would be like to have him back home to hang out as a family. I wonder what it would be like to have my husband home for dinner. I wonder what it would be like to read books as a family. I wonder what it would be like to get Alyse ready for bed with her Daddy's help. I wonder what it would be like for Josh to put Alyse in to bed. I wonder what it would be like to lay in bed and watch TV with my husband. Well, this past week, I have got the chance to see what it was like. Josh was in a class this week so he had "normal" work hours. He was home by 6pm every night this week. It was great! We got to do all the above things and even got to go on a double date. In fact, on Friday Josh got home really early. He was home in time for lunch which we enjoyed at the pool. We then came home and enjoyed a movie night. (Yay for free preview weekends!) I have been taking a little time off of blogging to enjoy the time that we had together. This next week, things will get back to (the real) normal, so I am sure that I will be back to blogging. |
