Yesterday, like all of you, we celebrated Father's Day.
On Saturday, Danielle, Josh, Alyse, Bo, Zeke and I all packed up and headed up to Raleigh to spend Father's Day with my parents. It was an interesting trip with a not so happy 15 month old and two crazy dogs, but we made it!
It was kind of odd to not be at Elevation for One Prayer, but Josh and I enjoyed having the day off. I was also glad that we were there to listen to my Dad. I think that was probably his favorite Father's Day present.
Here is a look at some pictures of the day:
This is Alyse giving Papa kisses.

She is Daddy's Girl.
I feel so lucky to have two great Daddy's in my life.
First off (cause I knew him first) is my Dad. My dad is a great man who loves his family and God above anything else. I am very thankful for everything that my dad has ever done for me, and that is a lot. He has always tried his best to be the best provider and spiritual guide/example that he can be. Now that he is a Papa, I see even more love coming from him. Alyse loves her Papa, and he loves (and spoils) her right back.
Second is Josh. Josh is a wonderful husband and daddy. I don't think he realizes how much that I appreciate all of his hard work and love that he gives to both Alyse and I. She gets so excited when she sees her daddy come walking in the door. (Well, if she is awake, she does.) She loves to play with him and snuggle with him. Every time I watch them together I realize how blessed I am to have both of them.
So today, I want to tell you both that I love you and appreciate you. (Even though you both drive me crazy sometimes!)
