So it is official. Alyse is no longer a "baby". (Even though I will still be thinking of her as a baby!)
She has now moved into a new car seat.
Last weekend her Daddy, Grammy, Papa, and I all took a trip to Babies R Us. Josh decided that he was going to go over and check out the forward facing car seats. Alyse isn't 20lbs yet, but she is over 1 yr. and she is starting to get to long for her carrier. He found one that was on sale for $60 and seemed to have all the requirements that we wanted. (Well, most of them. I personally wanted her to have a pink seat, but Josh said that was not necessary.) So, we went ahead and bought it.
Josh put it in the car on Sunday and she has been enjoying her forward facing rides.

gabe moved into his big boy seat over the weekend too, he's 20lbs @ 8 months! But just long and lean, not a chubby boy. Now I just have to keep reminding myself to stop talking to him via the rear view mirror while driving LOLApril 11, 2008 at 1:49 PMIt's really different to turn around and see your kid seating there. And yes she is growning up but she is still your baby. Just like Megan might be growning up but she's my baby.
