The Original Because of Love

Josh and I have been planning to go on a nice family outing for a while now. With his crazy work schedule it seems like we never have a day to just go and do something as a family. His days off are usually spent at church, doing things around the house, or something else. Well, today we decided that we were actually going to use today as a family day.

I have wanted to go Uptown to the Discovery Place for a while now. 1st they are getting ready to close for some renovations. I have also wanted to go because right now they have a Norman Rockwell exhibit and I LOVE Normal Rockwell. So, that was our plan for today. However, things didn't work out as planned.

Josh didn't get home from his overtime job until about 2pm. (Yes, it was his day off, but Josh still scheduled himself to work in the morning. *Sadness!*) By the time Alyse woke up from her nap, it was almost 3:30pm. The Discover Place closes at 5pm. We figured that we didn't have enough time to get up there so we decided at the last minute to ride the new train and then go to Imaginon.

It was a great family day!
