The Christmas rush has not let me blog very much this week. Here are a few highlights for you.
Friday - Josh and I hosted our 3rd Annual Christmas party. We had tons of fun! There were a lot of people there. I think that we had at least 50 people at our house. I told Josh that we need a bigger house because we have way to many friends. (Which is not a bad problem!)
Saturday- We had a surprise when I talked Josh's older sister Maria into coming to our house for Christmas. I didn't think she would actually come, but she did! The more the merrier!
Sunday - Christmas at Cricket was amazing! For those of you who are thinking, "What in the world is Christmas at Cricket?".... This year, Elevation church joined forces with New Birth Church for our Christmas service this year. We rented out Cricket Arena here in Charlotte, and it was unbelievable! We had over 5,500 people there. There were also a large number of salvations. It was so exciting. I have to admit that I could not stop looking around the room and smiling.
We celebrated Christmas like I never have before. (Bet you didn't have a steppin' crew at your church!) The music was crazy - I am a total Chris Brown fan, and I loved watching Ray on his drums! Pastor did a great job - I think he enjoyed himself up there!
The only bad thing was that I didn't get to sit right up front. Josh did, but I am not at all jealous! Well, maybe a little. Lori did put me on the list for a seat (thanks, friend!), but I sat with Maria and Danielle.
That reminds me - Thanks Danielle and Maria for all your help with Alyse! It was nice to know that you were on baby patrol so I could run around and not have to worry about her. It meant a lot!
It was a Christmas service like none other!
I am sure that I will have some more Christmas updates later, but I have to stop blogging now. I have some last minute presents to wrap!
