I wasn't quite sure what to blog about today, so I thought that I would share with you something from my "spiritual life".

Psalm 62:5-8 has been my favorite passage of scripture for awhile now. (You can read it above from the NIV.) I have been reading from "The Message" and have really been enjoying it. It is a great way to get a different perspective of the Bible. So, here is Psalm 62:5-8 from The Message:

5-6 God, the one and only—
I'll wait as long as he says.
Everything I hope for comes from him, so why not?
He's solid rock under my feet,
breathing room for my soul,
An impregnable castle:
I'm set for life.

7-8 My help and glory are in God
—granite-strength and safe-harbor-God—
So trust him absolutely, people;
lay your lives on the line for him.
God is a safe place to be.

I love how this verse reminds me that God has given me so much! Sometimes I sit and think about what a wonderful life I have. I really do have everything that I have ever hoped for.

It also reminds me that God is always with me. I can trust Him to take care of me, no matter what. I don't have to worry about anything. "I'm set for life."

Hope you enjoyed my verse! If you have a verse that means a lot to you, I'd love for you to share! There are plenty to chose from. :)
