Christmas is almost here! (40 days!) I know that some of you think that I am crazy to be so excited so soon, but I can't help it.
I'm not allowed to start playing Christmas music or decorate until the day after Thanksgiving, but today I got a little taste of the holiday season. I went to the Southern Christmas Show with my friend Joy! I was so excited to go!
I look forward to Christmas every year, but this year is something that I can hardly wait for because it is Alyse's first Christmas. For some reason, I get very emotional about this. In fact, today when we walked in, I was showing her some of the lights and trees, and I started to cry. (I know! I'm crazy!) I know that on Christmas morning, I am going to be a wreak!
Anyway.... after I got over the whole crying thing, we started the shopping fun. There is so much stuff there. I could go crazy and buy tons of things, but I really had a lot of self control today. (You would have been proud of me, Josh.) The only problem is that I am going back tomorrow with my mom. So, I am going to have all the temptations all over again. I think that I may be in trouble!
