Well, I just read over my last two post, and they are a little depressing. (Sorry!) They also have some typos. (Josh rode the bus, not road the bus. I'm a loser!) So, I have decided that this post will be a happy post. No more of this depressing stuff. I have sat and thought about some things that have really made me happy this last week, and now I will share those with you ......

The hardest I laughed was..... at Josh. Josh and I pray every night before we go to sleep. The other night, he turned to me and said, "Do you have any prayer request?" For some reason this cracked me up! The way he said it made me think of sitting in Sunday school or something. So, I replied, (trying to keep a straight face)"I have an unspoken". He then looked at me and you could tell that he didn't really know how to respond. Then we both started laughing hysterically. I don't know if we were just both tired, or maybe we are both weird, but we had a great laugh.

My best stress reliever this week was ....... playing music from Hairspray and dancing around my bedroom. Bo (our dog) joined me in this activity, much to the delight of Alyse. She was laughing, I was laughing, and Bo was barking. It was a lot of fun, and a great workout.

My best date was ......... I wish I could say Josh, but no dates for us this week.

My best lunch date was Lori. I love that girl! I was so happy that she took the time to have lunch with me. (Thanks Pastor for sharing her with me.) She is super busy, so to fit me in was very sweet of her.

My best dinner date was Tammy (and Alex and Andrew). Tammy called me and we both sporadically decided to pack up the kids and meet for dinner. I love spending time with Tammy. We always have loads to talk about and I always enjoy our time together.

The best day of the week was .......... SUNDAY! It was also the busiest day of the week. Providence - Butler - Providence - back to Butler..... I was exhausted when we finally got home last night. (I also was glad to get my shoes off! I made a poor choice of shoes for the day!) Even though I never got to actually sit through a whole service, I think it was one of the best Sundays ever. For those of you who don't know, we started a new campus at Butler High School.

Because of some of our responsibilities, Josh and I are floaters - meaning that we are going to be going back and forth from each location each Sunday. This made for a long day yesterday, but I told Lori that it was a "Goosebump Sunday". Watching Pastor speak at Butler and feeling the excitement in the air was awesome. At the end of the day, Josh came home and told me that we had almost 2800 people (over 1100 at Butler alone!) and there were 162 salvations! Praise God! Then, last night, we met again at Butler from a prayer time and some praise and worship. Last night was one of the nights that makes me know with my whole heart that I LOVE MY CHURCH!!!!! I loved the band. I loved Pastor sharing his heart with us. I loved praying in small groups that God would do His work through us. I loved Pastor leading us in good old fashion hymns with just our voices and a piano. (Take that all you people who think all we do is rock out.) I loved having communion. I loved pouring out my heart to God in prayer and in song. I loved...well, I loved it all! (And just think, this is just the beginning! I can't wait to see what else God is going to do - to Him be all the glory!)

Yesterday was also the first day of fall! (Later I will post all about how much I am excited about that.)

And finally, (You know I have to!)

The best picture that I took of Alyse this week was....... a tie!

It was either Alyse in her UNC track suit

OR

Alyse in her UNC cheerleader uniform

(Thanks Pa Pa for making sure that she is Tar Heel breed.)

Your unspoken prayer request cracks me up! I laugh every time I think about it...and I tried to relay the story to David but he didn't laugh as hard as I did...I must not tell it right!
