I am pleased to say that nothing serious happened today! I have no falls or injuries to report! Hopefully the trend is over.
Also, I have thought about it and have realized that some kids fall 4 times in one day, so 4 times in half a year isn't that bad. Right?
Oh, and no, she has not been back in her swing yet. Here is a picture of a her in her swing before "the incident": (No wonder she fell out!)
Also, I told Josh that I think it is time to set up the pack 'n play in our room so that I can leave her without worrying. I know she will cry (she hates being by herself), but at least she won't be going anywhere.
I say that because, today.....(dun dun dah dahhhhh)
SHE CRAWLED!!!!!!
I knew that it was coming. She has been reaching for objects and rocking on those knees for weeks now. A few days ago, she started to scoot a little. She would pull herself with her arms and then scoot her little butt over, but it was very slow and would last like 30 seconds before she fell over. Well, today she started the whole scooting thing, but ended up on her tummy. She started to rock, and then she got those little knees moving. It took her awhile but she moved about 8 feet across the floor.
(I have this all on video. If I ever find the cord for the camcorder and then have Josh either download it or teach me how to download it, I will put it on for you.)
I can't decide how I feel about this. I'm happy and proud of her, but I can't believe that MY BABY is growing up so fast! I also know that life is going to be changing around here! She is little and I think she is going to be fast.
