Birthdays, Babies, Buddies, and (what's a "B" word from the 80s- Blossom, Balki, Breakfast Club, Bodacious, That's Bad, The Bomb????)
at 8:34 PMSo my weekend was crazy! Good, but super busy. Lets go in order of the title:
Birthdays -
Friday was Josh's birthday. He turned 26.
Birthdays -
Friday was Josh's birthday. He turned 26.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR JOSH,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR JOSH,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
Well, sadly, he had to work. Plus, Josh doesn't really make a big deal out of his birthday (unlike me!). So, there wasn't any big plans. I tried to talk him into having a party, but he said no. Oh, well..... His only celebration was when Alyse and I went to meet him for lunch. I think that he was happy with that. I did steal him some cake, which leads to our next topic...
Babies-
The baby boom continues. On Friday night we celebrated the upcoming arrival of Graham. I think it is great that there will be a new little Furtick! I can't wait to meet him.
Buddies-
I love our small group. Every Sunday night we get together and have a great time. Josh and I feel so blessed that we have these people in our lives. I also think it is so good for Alyse to be around other kids. Here are some pictures of the kids:
This is Cooper. He is so funny! I love to chat with him.

Alyse and Austin playing.
I love Austin. So does Alyse (see the hand on his knee).
Maybe we need to talk to Chunks and Amy about an arranged marriage.

Last, but not least, is the 80s terms. Here is a glossary for you:
Blossom - You know you watched that show. WOOOAAHH.
Balki - From Perfect Strangers. So funny! (Well, it was.)
Breakfast Club - THE 80s movie - Who hasn't seen it?
Bodacious - Wasn't that something from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
That's Bad - adj. very good, excellent; Cool, Awesome
The Bomb - Adj. Something favorable
Ok, that's enough.....
All these 80s terms bring me to that Sunday was so bad! (See above) I loved it! Pastor spoke on growth. Which was good, since there were over 2800 people there! There also was some exciting news...We are starting a new campus. Which is good, since we truly have run out of seats. I can't wait! I love my church!
